Hollowness

Halleluah………

Give it up for the Lord

For bringing light onto our lives

And sorting our church leaders

For He never sleeps

If you lie once, don’t do it twice

Well….do you think I can preach?

Of course do it my style

Coz I don’t have to use the same old versions

That some of our pastors have adopted

I am not against any messenger

Some of the preachers have become a nuisance

From mismanaging tithe, falsifying, to sodomizing our brothers

Are these the last days they always preach about?

Their wives are in boat

So vulnerable to the untold truth

But some knew it before

They wanted to protect their marriage and integrity

You have seen them smiling in public

Only God knows what they are going through

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ

Remember that not all preachers are monsters

But how are we going to differentiate them?

Shall we go back to our old churches?

We have become a laughing stoke to the unspiritual

They want to see us crumble and mortified

But God is faithful

We shall desist from the rising spiritual madness

Deep, but true. There are still some good ones out there...

Many though, sadly, are ravenous wolves in sheep's clothing, exactly as Jesus said it would be on the last days...

Really enjoyed the sentiments offered within this piece...makes me think about a discussion that I was recently involved in.

It was said that our local churches, our community churches need to become more involved in the community as a whole. I wholeheartedly agreed.

I think there are many churches and preachers and brethren who could make a world of a difference within the lives of entire families and communities.

If we don't do it for us, we have to do it for our kids.

Great piece. Food for thought.
But it seems like your thoughts weren't quite defined.
The poem's flow is sort of mixed(if I can use the word).
Otherwise, I dont in the least like to see dirty preachers telling me what to do or not when they can't remember taking a shower or putting on clean clothes.
And the hoarse voices are but sickening. Did God intend it so?

@Jaycee, hope the few won't get this vice.

@don, absolutely.

@Tubman, I would first pray before punishing him. Priess should practice what they preach.

@Oracle, Revelations are here.

@Lulu, yes indeed.

@Ubuntu, Thanks bro. I was detached to the piece so that you take a stand.

"Remember that not all preachers are monsters .But how are we going to differentiate them?"- just how do we actually differentiate them?

I worry that so many people have decided not to trust a pastor again or go to another church because of what they may have experienced in the past but there are still a few good ones..there are still a few.

nicely written lin!
